When you use Entropy Studio, we collect the following information:
- Text you submit for rewriting. Input and output text is logged to measure quality and improve the model. Text is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
- Account information. If you sign in, we receive your email address and profile from our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Usage data. We track quota usage (token counts) to enforce daily limits. We may collect anonymous analytics to understand feature usage.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the rewriting service
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To measure and improve model quality over time
- To send product updates if you have signed in (no marketing spam)
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Entropy Studio:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management
- Neon — Database hosting (stores quota and account data)
- Langfuse — LLM observability (logs inputs/outputs for quality monitoring)
Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.
4. Data Retention
Text logs are retained for up to 90 days for quality analysis, then deleted. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Request data portability
